"Mind your own Business"

I need to represent the UD Sports and Entertainment program. Got this from London.

‘Mind Your Own Business’
Music Scene Gets a Boost from Local Business School

Irving, TX- North Texas is no stranger to music talent. With Norah Jones, Erykah Badu, Jessica and Ashley Simpson, Bowling For Soup, and Pat Green all calling North Texas home, the area has produced a wealth of talent. However, many local artists never make it past the city limits. They may draw large crowds at local nightclubs and even sell a lot of CDs out of the trunk of their cars, but they’re never signed by a major record label. Often, business acumen (versus musical talent) is the critical success factor that makes the difference.

The University of Dallas College of Business is working to change the music landscape in North Texas. Through its new Music Business Academy, the university is offering seminars that focus on the various business aspects of the industry. In addition, the university has planned several graduate courses on the music business that will be offered in their MBA program in Sports & Entertainment Management. “We’ve met with a lot of local artists and music executives and we have found that there is a real need to develop the music business knowledge in DFW. The talent is here, but the business knowledge is not,” says Dr. Scott Wysong, Academic Program Director for the school’s Sports & Entertainment MBA Program.

Recently, the university hosted a free seminar open to the public entitled “Are You Radio Ready,” which focused on careers in radio and tips for artists on getting their songs played on local radio. To examine these issues, Music Business Academy co-founder and noted entertainment attorney, Ward White IV, moderated a panel discussion with local radio program directors, Skip Cheatam of K104 and John Candelaria of 97.9 The Beat. According to White, “Skip Cheatam and John Candelaria are two of the best radio program directors in the country, not just Dallas. They did an excellent job of giving local artists an insiders’ view of the business side of radio.”

In attendance were a number of local record label executives and artists. “Dallas music needs what the University of Dallas is doing. There is such a rich history of music in this great city and we need to come together to let the nation know about Dallas music,” says local Grammy award winning musician, Art Greenhaw who was in attendance at the seminar and has also spearheaded the university’s efforts. “I’ve been in the music business 25 plus years, but I really learned a lot from the recent seminar with the two radio program directors. There are lessons for all musicians to be learned from rap/hip-hop music.”

“Learning business tips from each other regardless of the genre of music is the name of game,” says local music executive and University of Dallas MBA student, Rodney “London” Williams. “I work every day with a number of very talented musicians, yet they don’t understand what it takes to make it the next level. The University of Dallas has a unique program and approach and I wanted to be a part of that.”

For more information about the Music Business Academy or the MBA in Sports and Entertainment Management from the University of Dallas, contact Scott Wysong, Ph.D. at (972) 721- 5007 or swysong@gsm.udallas.edu. www.thedallasmba.com/se

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

I went to the mall after work today to avoid the Trick-or-Treaters in my neighborhood. I've bought candy these past couple of years but never had Trick-or-Treaters, leaving me with tons of candy. Okay, not tons, but enough. So this year I decided not to buy candy and just completely avoid the kiddos. I went to Grapevine Mills. Now that's the way to go. I like the traditional going from house to house, but the mall was filled with the cutest kids ever! Cowboys, Princesses, Animals, even Tigger and an Oompa-Loompa (which was a little scary). But being inside, every store had candy. By the time I left, many stores had signs that said "No more candy"...I thought it would have been really ironic if the candy stores had the same signs, but they didn't. Some ice cream place was even giving out samples...YUM! Anyway, I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. Are you ready for Thanksgiving?

I got myself a J-O-B!

Yes, you read correctly. I got a job! My technical experience and my music experience come together on this one...SWEET! I pretty much get to work on an Online Indie Music retailer! Since I started this past Thursday and I've worked up at the restaurant, I am T-I-R-E-D. So I'm cutting this post short. Thanks again to Beth for finding the site that led to this job!

By the way, prayers go out to all in the Galveston area. My family got out of the area okay and are now with my cousin in Arlington. My other cousin decided to stay in Houston. All we can do now is just wait. God bless us all.

Ten on Tuesday

Thought this topic was interesting and figured I'd give it a shot.

10 Ways Your Country Can Change for the Better (in no particular order)

1. Get a new president...I've thought that since the last election.
2. TRUE freedom of speech. No matter how hateful, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
3. Make diversity and sensitivity classes mandatory. At least offer a day or week. We live in a changing and diverse world. Understanding one another may help us get along better.
4. People need to be more respectful when they are on their cell phones. If you are at the cashier or about to talk to a person, hang up the phone...you can call the person back. ARGH!
5. Refocus back on the US instead of other countries. If they need help they will ask us, but what right do we have to go in and tell people how to run their countries?
6. Promote vacations within the US. I have yet to see Mt. Rushmore or the Grand Canyon. Better our economy by spending at home.
7. Continue to support our troops no matter the politics on why they are still in other countries. Even though people don't agree with them being there, the troops need to know we still support THEM.
8. Clean up our big cities. Citizens need to take responsibility in the image of their city.
9. Require every big city to examine their public transportation system. Dallas only recently has really boomed in their DART system, but is behind compared to cities like Chicago, NYC, DC. This might help with the air quality too.
10. Americans need to show the love and support they have showed during 9/11 and Katrina all year round. National tragedies can bring the worst out in people, but the best definitely outweighs it.

Possibilities

If you haven't heard about it then let me be the first to inform you about this great album by Herbie Hancock. A friend of mine told me about it, let me borrow his CD and wow! You may remember him from the 80's hit Rockit with the electric keys and all, but this album is totally different. It's jazz inspired with Hancock on piano and some GREAT artists singing including John Mayer, Christina Aguilera, Sting, a duet with Jonny Lang and Joss Stone, among others. Right now I'm listening to Hush Hush with Annie Lennox and amazing. This is such a relaxing album. Go to Starbucks or Herbie's website to pick it up. Not sure if it's available at Best Buy or major outlets like that, but I know you can pick it up at Starbucks because my friend got it there and I was just in there yesterday getting a Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino...YUM!

Sweet Home Chicago

Yes, I am back in the city. This weekend is my best friend Joanne's wedding. So excited for this reunion filled event. Got some ole skool friends in town for the shindig. One friend wanted to go out tonight but I am tired (yeh, yeh, that's why I'm online at 12:14am...you know me). Don't worry partying will be done these next couple of nights.

Today, I actually spent more than 5 minutes in the American Girl Store. I was on a tour bus one time and the girl said that the two famous bags you see people walking around with on Michigan Avenue is the turquoise blue bag from Tiffany's and the big red bag from the American Girl Store. That place, no doubt, wins hands down. Jo's niece brought her doll. They got her a new outfit and she got her hair done for the wedding...yes the doll. She got a new doll and Jo's new niece-in-law (if that's actually a term) got two dolls too. Girls from all over the world flock to that store. It can be a little crazy if you ask me, but you gotta love it.

Meanwhile across the street Kanye West had an autograph signing at Borders. I keep asking myself why I didn't go. The line wasn't too bad. What an opportunity...argh!

Anyway, I hope to post some pics on here from this weekend so stay tuned. I probably won't be on for the next couple of days though, so everyone have a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!!

Tragedy in the South

Sitting here watching the news....CRYING!!!! Prayers go out to those who have survived Hurricane Katrina. People have lost homes, family members, their livelihood, meanwhile others are stealing and killing. How do people justify looting? I understand they are in search of food, medicine, etc, but jeans, tv's, jewelry??????? WHY?!?!?! How do we as humans even think of breaking the law when there is so much other loss going on around us? People are shooting people. There is enough tragedy caused by nature, why do we need to hurt each other? Grown men crying, people roaming around with lost looks on their faces, a man searching for his wife, children oblivious to the true destruction, houses leveled to pieces of wood while other houses are submerged in water, why do we need to disrespect each other?

Mr. Bush...Thanks for cutting your vacation short and getting on with your job, that is the welfare of the United States of America. Too bad the tragedy didn't happen to Florida...maybe your vacation would have been cut shorter than today in preparation for the disaster that was about to hit our country. (Anyone sense my sarcasm?!) I heard that they had to halt air recovery efforts while the President toured the areas hit by the hurricane. Uh really?! Do you honestly think that people are going to worry about hurting our president during this time?! I'm sorry but saving people who are stranded on their roofs are more important than even thinking that the air space around Bush can be compromised.

Finally, just the other day they did a report on George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Mr. Cindy Crawford (sorry I can't remember his name at the moment), and their plans for this new Vegas condo/resort thing. I wonder if they will put that project on hold and help with the relief efforts in LA, MS, AL and GA. Does that not make sense?! Do we really need another hotel in Vegas? Will the celebrities that stepped up for the tsunami victims step up for their people at HOME?! Please do not disappoint me!

Anyway, these are just random thoughts as I watch the coverage over the past couple of days. Please pray for the survivors of Katrina. I can't help financially, but belief that a higher power will give the victims of this tragedy some strength is hope enough.

2005 MTV VMA's Recap

Okay, this is a few of my comments from the 2005 VMA's. They are always fun to watch just to see who's with who, what will happen, all the unexpected craziness, the performances, and the list goes on and on. It's just the show to watch! The theme of the night..."anything can happen" and it seems anything did. These are just a few comments, I started watching in the middle, but I'm sure they'll show it over and over and over and over.

- Bring the ROCK....more and more respect for Green Day.

- Random breakouts of dance routines and old skool hip-hop...FUN - NY!

- Orlando Bloom....HOT. I didn't think he was all that, but presenting with Kirsten Dunst...HELLO!

- What is up with Jessica Simpson's hair and outfit...HOW TRASHY!!!! Who told her she looked good? Fire her stylist! Ashley and Jessica are definitely of the same pod....retards.

- Why did John Legend, Snoop Dogg, and Mariah not win awards?

- Shakira's performance was HOT...literally, fire...haha...fire!

- Props to Kanye and Pepsi for reppin Chicago in the new commercial. Oh yeah, and he won a few awards...'bout time!

- Speaking of commericals....love the GAP commerical with Jason Mraz, John Legend, Alanis Morrisette, Joss Stone, Michelle Williams, Brandon Boyd and some guy I don't know talking about how jeans are like your favorite song...it just feels right.

- What's with the ridiculous R.Kelly performace? Lip-syncing? Acting? Supposed to be making a comeback?

- The Killers performance...KILLER! That would have been cool to see in such a small setting.

- Beavis and Butthead...do they really need to come back? Kinda funny but not.

- The Biggie tribute was interesting. The orchestra was cool.

- Still not a reggaeton fan. Every once in a while it's cool and fun to dance to, but when NaMicha and I went to Florida, every other song had a reggaeton remix and it got overplayed.

- What did Fat Joe say that they completely muted out?

- Coldplay...great band, but really can't get into them...sorry music lovers.

- Gwen and Snoop won for Diddy's best dressed...rightfully so...HOLLABACK!

- New fave bands...The Killers and My Chemical Romance.

- Kelly Clarkson rocked. More and more respect for her too.

All in all, decent party, but it seems the Grammy's are showing up the musical performances with better collaborations and surpises on stage. Diddy is not a host. He can throw a party, but his TV hosting skills just weren't there. That's just some of my thoughts on the VMA's. One day I will party at the show...one can hope, no?!

Live Music...miss it!

So last night I went down to Deep Ellum. The drive down there is such a pain in my butt, but when I think about it, I used to drive to Fort Worth after getting off from work so I guess it's not that bad. Went to see the JFJ Band, actually my guys with the JFJ guys. I need to accept the fact that they are now all just JFJ. I have to admit that they ROCKED out! The music is getting tighter and John and Mikey are having fun playing NEW music. Check them out if you get a chance. If interested they are competing in the Battle of the Bands at Sherlock's in Addison on Sept. 6th. Although different from the wakingNorman sound, they are still making some good stuff and you gotta respect that. It was good seeing some faces that I haven't seen in a while. Just weird not going or being at a show with my regular peeps. Ahhh the good ole days.

On another note...the last performer/band was Zayra Alvarez. That chick rocked! Check out her site for more info on her.

The Debut

I wanted to see The Debut when it was in the theaters but never got around to it. Then on my last visit to Chicago, my cousin had the DVD with him. It's so cool to see my people in a movie, being real, representing our heritage and our struggles. Every Filipino-American I know can relate to some or all aspects of the movie. Actually when you think about it, any culture can relate in their search for cultural identity, especially among second-generation immigrants. Although the movie is predictable, a cultureless character in the end finding his true self and appreciating his heritage, it's still good in that it puts our brown faces on a movie and at one point in theaters. Support Asian-American filmmakers!

The Great Raid

Not many people have heard of it, but go see The Great Raid. I knew there was a war movie coming out, I knew Benjamin Bratt was in it, but didn't know anything else. Then as I was watching the news, they were talking about this movie coming out which had to do with World War II and the Philippines. Last year when my aunt and I went back "home" we visited Bataan so I got a little history lesson on the war and the US' involvement. Needless to say when I saw the piece on the movie I definitely wanted to go see it. It's a great movie and it makes me proud to be an American and proud of my Filipino heritage.

About the Movie: Set in the Philippines in 1945, "The Great Raid" tells the true story of the 6th Ranger Battalion, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Mucci (Benjamin Bratt) who undertake a daring rescue mission against all odds. Traveling thirty miles behind enemy lines, the 6th Ranger Battalion aims to liberate over 500 American prisoners-of-war from the notorious Cabanatuan Japanese POW camp in the most audacious rescue ever.

Randoms

Just some random thoughts and updates....

Been busy, but not. Really need that day job.

Sushi Rocks! Just had it for lunch...YUM!!!

I am in the middle of reading three books. I suppose I should attempt to finish one at a time before starting a new one. I was reading Deception Point, but have lost interest. I'll pick it up again soon. Then I started reading The Sweet Potato Queens' Book of Love by recommendation. I was going to read it on my plane ride back from Chicago to Dallas, but as I was roaming around the airport I saw a book called The Rule of Four. Read the back and it looked interesting so I bought it. So far so good. I'll finish all of them soon...I hope!

I miss wakingNorman and my CD's. ARGH!!! Last sunday was fun for Billy's birthday. The guys got up and did Love Rears then Stuck in a Stare...I wanted to cry! They make such great music together. Everyone will soon get their shit straight and the band will be back stronger then ever...or will they? Time will tell.

Okay, need to get ready for work.

John Mayer = HOT!

That was apparently a title I've used already since it appeared on the auto text drop down thing. It may have been when I saw him live last summer. Anyway, he is on KERA, public TV here in Dallas and WOW!!! HOT HOT HOT is all I have to say! Acoustic guitar, yummy lips, great music. He needs to come back to Dallas soon!!! Hmmmm....Chicago in September, maybe LA?

Back in Dallas

Just got back to Dallas today from Greenland. Yes I went to Greenland again and this time we literally got to see things that we didn't the last time...it was 24 hour daylight. It's 1:30am right now and I am tired, I'm surprised I'm still up but once I get online, I'm stuck for a good while.

I want to thank all the people at Thule Air Base for another great time. A shout out goes to all those who I got to see again and the new people that I got to meet. If I forget you, please forgive me, but a "What's up?!" goes to Jesper (no worries, I don't hate you...thank you), Rachel (who looks better in your lingerie?), Dan (thanks for being patient with us), Connie (thanks for putting up/keeping up with the boys), Rodney (can't believe you struck out...i'm talking about the softball game ;-)), Joe (one more month!), Jessica (what's up girl...you crazy?!), Heather (I eventually remembered your name), Aubry (you're doing some good work), Corey (good luck with the MCAT), Mike (thanks for the rides), Doug (where's my coin?), Lonnie (see you at a show?), George (no money lost this time), Desmond (DJ, glad your friends in London are okay), Doogie (welcome back from vacation), Curtis (see you on another flight?), BD (aka Red Velvet), Tall Mike, Misty, Justin (where's our pics?), Colonel Haven, Colonel Buck, Jeep, Steve, Mike Marotta and Monti (keep up the good work, the base needs the TOW Club), Chuck (it's a good thing no arrests were made this time ;-)), Art (your barbeque was awesome!), those we hung out with at 708, the cops I ate lunch with and if I forgot you, let me know!

The True You

With respect to money, you spend as little as possible.

The hidden side of your personality tends to be methodical in your ways - with trouble adapting to the rules of society.

Me and My Big Mouth

By the way, if you look at the weather to the right it is TOTALLY OFF! I wonder if dynaweather.com is working. The temp is off by at least 40 degrees. I wish it was in the 50's. I will be in cooler weather in less than a week...back up to Greenland and this time, 24 hour daylight!

BITCHOLOGY

When I stand up for myself and my beliefs, they call me a bitch.
When I stand up for those I love, they call me a bitch.
When I speak my mind, think my own thoughts or do things my own way, they call me a bitch.

Being a bitch means I won't compromise what's in my heart.
It means I live my life MY way.
It means I won't allow anyone to step on me.

When I refuse to tolerate injustice and speak against it, I am defined as a bitch.

The same thing happens when I take time for myself instead of being everyone's maid, or when I act a little selfish. It means I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be who I truly am and won't become anyone else's idea of what they think I "should" be.

So try to stomp on me, try to douse my inner flame, try to squash every ounce of beauty I hold within me. You won't succeed.

And if that makes me a bitch, so be it. I embrace the title and am proud to bear it.

B - Babe
I - In
T - Total
C - Control of
H - Herself

B = Beautiful
I = Intelligent
T = Talented
C = Charming
H = Hell of a Woman

B = Beautiful
I = Individual
T = That
C = Can
H = Handle anything

"If you can't do something right, get a woman to do it."

Have a great day!!!
And always remember what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!!!!

10 Things You Wish You Knew When You Were in High School
1) It's okay to be sociable and hang out after school.
2) Sports is not a bad thing.
3) Don't take Spanish class for granted because you have an easy teacher.
4) McDonald's was not only for the "cool kids".
5) I should have auditioned for IDC and PomPons.
6) I should have applied for the college of my choice(but I do NOT regret UIUC!).
7) Having a boyfriend is okay.
8) Curly permed hair is not all that it's cracked up to be.
9) It's okay not to be part of the popular crowd. Once you get to college, these people you thought were untouchable are actually down to earth and real.
10) Buy your prom dress, don't get it made by some lady who specializes in mass wedding dresses...ugh!

Random Thought

Just a random thought, but it's sad when you go to church and they have to remind you before mass starts to turn off your cellphones and pagers. Do you think you are really that important that you can't remember to turn those things off in church, at the movies, in a meeting and someone else needs to remind you?

We Belong Together

Miss Mariah is coming back with a vengance. Did anyone catch her on the MTV Movie Awards? I love that song We Belong Together. It's a song EVERYONE can relate to.

We Belong Together by Mariah Carey

Verse 1
I didn’t mean it when I said
I didn’t love you so
I should have held on tight
I never should have let you go
I didn’t know nothing,
I was stupid, I was foolish
I was lying to myself
I couldn’t have fathomed
I would ever be without your love
Never imagined I’d be sitting
Here beside myself
Guess I didn’t know you
Guess I didn’t know me
But I thought I knew everything
I never felt

Pre-Chorus 1
The feeling that I’m feeling
Now that I don’t hear your voice
Or have your touch and kiss your lips
Cause I don’t have a choice
Oh what I wouldn’t give
To have you lying by my side
Right here cause baby

Chorus 1
When you left I lost a part of me
It’s still so hard to believe
Come back baby please cause
We belong together
Who else am I gonna lean on when times get rough
Who’s gonna talk to me on the phone
Till the sun comes up
Who’s gonna take your place
There ain’t nobody better
Oh baby baby
We belong together

Verse 2
I can’t sleep at night
When you are on my mind
Bobby Womack’s on the radio
Singing to me “If You Think You’re Lonely Now”
Wait a minute this is too deep
I gotta change the station
So I turn the dial tryin’ to catch a break
And then I hear Babyface
“I Only Think Of You” and it’s breakin’ my heart
I’m tryin’ to keep it together but I’m falling apart

Pre-Chorus 2
I’m feeling all out of my element
Throwing things, crying tryin’
To figure out where the hell I went wrong
The pain reflected in this song
Ain’t even half of what I’m feeling inside
I need you, need you back in my life baby

Chorus 2
When you left I lost a part of me
It’s still so hard to believe
Come back baby please cause
We belong together
Who else am I gonna lean on when times get rough
Who’s gonna talk to me on the phone
Till the sun comes up
Who’s gonna take your place
There ain’t nobody better
Oh baby baby
We belong together

Outro
When you left I lost a part of me
It’s still so hard to believe
Come back baby please cause
We belong together
Who am I gonna lean on when times get rough
Who’s gonna talk to me till the sun comes up
Who’s gonna take your place
There ain’t nobody better
Oh baby baby
We belong together

Live Music

Since working with the band and in the music industry I've been introduced to alot of unknown or at least not-as-popular or mainstream bands. Last night my boys joined our new front man on stage and they opened for Bob Schneider. He used to front a popular Austin band called the Scabs. I was introduced to the music by another amazing musician so I was excited to see that my boys were opening up for him. What a following this man has. And what a coinkadink that I get introduced to an artist one month and the next my boys end up opening up for him. Needless to say, the show was amazing. My boys rocked out and Bob was awesome! Go over and take a listen and check out his cool a$$ site!

Love is...

Love is patient and kind.
It is not jealous or boastful.
It is not arrogant or rude.

Love does not insist on its own way.
It is not irritable or resentful.
It rejoices in the right.

Love bears all things,
Believes all things,
Hopes all things,
Endures all things.

1 Corinthians 13

Cannonball

I haven't posted in a while so I guess I'm just catching up. Have you heard of Damien Rice? Well, our new lead singer covers his song Cannonball and it's a good one. Here are the lyrics...go to www.damienrice.com to check out some live footage.

Cannonball by Damien Rice

there’s still a little bit of your taste in my mouth
there’s still a little bit of you laced with my doubt
it’s still a little hard to say what's going on

there’s still a little bit of your ghost your witness
there’s still a little bit of your face i haven't kissed
you step a little closer each day
that i can’t say what's going on

stones taught me to fly
love taught me to lie
life, it taught me to die
so it's not hard to fall
when you float like a cannonball

there’s still a little bit of your song in my ear
there’s still a little bit of your words i long to hear
you step a little closer to me
so close that i can't see what's going on

stones taught me to fly
love, it taught me to lie
life taught me to die
so it's not hard to fall
when you float like a cannon..
stones taught me to fly
love taught me to cry
so come on courage
teach me to be shy
'cause it's not hard to fall
and i don't wanna scare her
it's not hard to fall
and i don't wanna lose
it's not hard to grow
when you know that you just don't know

True Friendship

Are you tired of all those sissy Friendship poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality? Well, here is a series of promises that really speaks to true friendship:

When you are sad - I will help get you drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.
When you are blue - I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
When you smile - I will know you finally got laid.
When you are scared - I will rag on you about it every chance I get.
When you are worried - I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and remind you to quit whining.
When you are confused - I will use little words.
When you are sick - Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.
When you fall - I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.
This is my oath ... I pledge it till the end.
Why? You may ask. Because you are my friend.

Remember: A good friend will help you move. A really good friend will help you move a body. Let me know if I ever need to bring a shovel.

To all the Good Apples

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just take the rotten apples from the grounds that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Now Men....Men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

I love all my apples and grapes!

Dreams

As a "Thank You" to our lead singer, we gave him a frame with the wakingNorman discs, including the two albums and our music video. We also found a perfect quote for him that I want to share with all of you.

"Nothing is as real as a dream.
The world can change around you,
but your dream will not.
Responsibilities need not erase it.
Duties need not obscure it.
Because the dream is within you,
no one can take it away."

Those Were The Times....

"Those Were the Times" is a song that always brings back memories from college and the good times spent there. That song also applies to the ride with wakingNorman.

Today is my lead singer's last gig with wakingNorman. It's going to be a sad show. He is burned out and must give up the dream for now. The band won't be the same without his voice. The memories will always be there though and that will always be fun.

The rest of the guys are moving on with our new lead. Saw them all play last night and as much as I hate to admit it, they were happy and I wanted to cry because it was so good to see them happy. They haven't had a spark like that in a long time and as much as I hate to see the band go on without our current lead, this is what needs to happen.

"Those were the times, I will always remember with you..." Miguel Reyes

What Age Do You Act?

This is funny because I took the quiz and I act my actual age. Weird because I feel like I act younger.

You Are 29 Years Old

29

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

How Normal Are You?

55% normal, is that a good thing?

You Are 55% Normal

(Somewhat Normal)

While some of your behavior is quite normal...

Other things you do are downright strange

You've got a little of your freak going on

But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself

What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

Another one for you for insight on me...

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.

Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything... no secrets.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

Although my birthday was months ago, thought this was interesting...

Your Birthdate: February 6

A birthday on the 6th of the month adds a tone of responsibility, helpfulness, and understanding to your natural inclinations.

Those born on the sixth are more apt to be open and honest with everyone, and more caring about family and friends, too.

This is a number associated with responsibility and caring - this birthday lends a degree of concern for others.
