Another wish for all my friends...
Got this via email from a very good friend and I thought I'd pass it on to all of you, but not clog your mailboxes...
"After serious & cautious consideration.....your contract of friendship has been renewed for the New Year 2007!
It was a very hard decision to make. So try not to screw it up!!!
My Wish for You in 2007
May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $200 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. In simple words ............
May 2007 be the best year ever!!"
See you soon!

Happy 2007!
Hello Everyone! I hope everyone had a safe and happy new years! May your 2006 be better than 2007.
It's been a while since I've updated this so one of my resolutions is to be better about updating my blog. Why not start the new year off with a new post.
I got this via email from a family friend:
"What Will Matter
(By Michael Josephson)
Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end. There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten will pass to someone else. Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed.
Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear. So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to do lists will expire. The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away. It won't matter where you came from or what side of the tracks you lived on at the end. It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant. Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.
So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought but what you built, not what you got but what you gave.
What will matter is not your success but your significance.
What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught.
What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.
What will matter is not your competence but your character.
What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.
What will matter is not your memories but the memories that live in those who loved you.
What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what. Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident. It's not a matter of circumstance but of choice.
Choose to live a life that matters."
May your 2007 matter! I love you all!

My mySpace Current Song
Yeah, it's a country song. Yeah, it's not typical Rosie. But listen to the lyrics. This goes to ALL my friends.
My Wish by Rascal Flatts
I hope that days come easy and moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,
More then anything, more then anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it,
To your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more then you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more then you take.
Oh More then anything, Yeah, and more then anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it,
To your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more then you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,

Grey's Anatomy is addicting....
Everyone talks about it. Everyone was excited about the season premiere. Me, I didn't have an opinion, I was just happy I never got hooked. I spoke to soon. I watched the highlights from last season and that was all I needed. I watched the premiere and wow...let's just say I can't wait until next Thursday. Now I'm about to watch Six Degrees. Ahhhh back to Thursday Night television!
Then the song...which pretty much sealed the deal.
"How to Save a Life" by The Fray
How To Save A Life
© 2004 Slade/King
Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
Then the song...which pretty much sealed the deal.

Counting Crows and Goo-Goo Dolls
Went to see them both last night. Can you belive "Name" came out 12 years ago!?!? It's crazy. Both bands were AMAZING! The musicianship on stage was outstanding. The Goo mixed it up with the old and the new. Counting Crows were GREAT!!!! Adam Duritz is such a great songwriter and singer and the band is just WOW! For those who missed out, oh well, last night was their last show of the tour...your loss!

Regrets and second guessing...
Ok, how much does it suck when you think a person with industry "contacts" could come through and hook you up but in actuality it all goes *poof*. Then you see one of your boys and he tells you that had you called him the night before we could have been in to see JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and drank for nada!!! ARGH! Well I guess things happen for a reason, but not sure why this happened. Oh yeah, now I remember, because I'm stupid and don't use my resources!
Point of the story....ASK FOR MORE!!! Ask all the people you know to help you out and someone will come through, and it'll probably be the least likeliest person. I could have seen JT in an intimate setting and I blew it. Shit when I saw my boy at 10:45 he said we could go down there and we'd get in if I drove...now you know you're old when you look at your watch and say "no"...dumb dumb dumb! Now to get in bed and cry me a river (like that pun?).
Okay, that's the end of my schpeel. Next big act...no holds barred...I am asking EVERYONE!!! So all of you...BEWARE...*evil laugh...hahahah*.

I want to CRY!!!!
Justin Timberlake is at the Gypsy Tea Room tonight and I tried ALLLLL my connections and nothing. Sooooo disappointed! Sucks having a day job! I could have stood outside Best Buy since 8am this morning and gotten tix (if I didn't die from heat exhuastion first). Probably a once in a lifetime show. EFFING A$$!
